Irving Wiseman, Mercury’s Founder, stands as one of the pioneers of the Asia footwear trade. During the 1970’s he brought high quality athletic footwear to popular markets at prices which had previously been unobtainable. Irving’s intense focus on quality, innovation and design was rewarded quickly, as consumers and customers immediately recognized the inherent values contained in a Mercury International product.

As Mercury’s Chairman, Irving continues to teach and expand the company’s goals and philosophy. Over the last 28 years, Irving has instilled his personal values of honesty, fairness, generosity and social responsibility within Mercury’s corporate culture. Howard Wiseman, Mercury’s Chief Executive and Gary Gorsuch, Mercury’s President, are committed to carrying Irving’s unique business approach into a new generation of footwear industry opportunities.
