Irving Wiseman, Mercury’s Founder, stands as one of the pioneers of the Asia footwear trade. During the 1970’s he brought high quality athletic footwear to popular markets providing value to consumers and transforming the feet of the country, one pair at a time. Irving’s intense focus on quality, innovation and design was rewarded quickly, as consumers and customers immediately recognized the inherent values contained in a Mercury International product.
As Mercury’s Chairman, Irving continues to teach and expand the company’s goals and philosophy. Over the last 29 years, Irving has instilled his personal values of honesty, fairness, generosity and social responsibility within Mercury’s corporate culture.
